At a minimum, the following materials shall be separated and recycled: mixed paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass, cartons, plastics# 1 through 7, and leaf waste.The owners and/or occupants of commercial, municipal, and institutional buildings shall be responsible for the separation, storage, and collection of recyclable material. Items cannot be put out until after 12:00 pm Tuesday the day before. or you will have to wait until the following week. The fees are $30.00 for a standard pick-up truck, $40.00 for a dump truck, and an additional $20.00 for each appliance except tv’s which are $50.00 per tv and $10.00 for each propane tank.īulk pick-ups are only done on Wednesdays and the cut-off time to prepay and pre-schedule in person is Tuesday the day before by 12:00 pm.To schedule a bulk pickup, you have the option to fill out a Bulk Pick Up form online or you can come to the Township Building located at 50 Powell Road or the Public Works Department located at 1258 Church Road to prepay and pre-schedule for a pick-up. In the event of a holiday, please hold your trash and paper/commingled recycling until your next scheduled collection day. Garbage and rubbish collection days are split into two different schedules for Areas 1 & 2. Commingled recyclables go to Republic Services and newspapers go to Rock-Tenn. The containers that hold the recyclables are available, free of charge, at the Township or Public Works Buildings. Recyclables should be put out to the curb the evening before your collection day or before 7:00 a.m. Recyclables will be picked up once per week on your recycling day.
